Our Story
We started Wynston's in 2019, convinced that our community needed ice cream that tasted like the stuff we remembered from summers in Michigan — but better. Years later, two shops, and a few national awards later, we're still churning every batch by hand.
We're not the cheapest pint in the freezer. We're not trying to be. We use real cream, real fruit, real chocolate, and we take the long road on every step. If that sounds stubborn, it is. The details make the difference.

How we make it
We don't take shortcuts. Every batch follows the same steps — most of which are slower than they need to be, on purpose.
Real high butterfat cream from California dairies, real fruit, real ingredients from the best sources.
Test, test, test. We make the smallest adjustments to ensure perfection. No status quo here, always trying to make it better.
Small-batches keep our quality high. Denser texture, less air, packed with flavor. The way you want it made.
Every batch rests at least 12 hours before scooping. Flavors marry, ice crystals soften, magic happens. Taste buds sing.
Who is Wynston?
Wynston is the bowtied, slightly Victorian, very opinionated cow on the side of every cup. He didn't ask to be a mascot — but here we are.
He believes vanilla should never apologize for being vanilla. He thinks "Hold the Cow" is a perfectly reasonable lifestyle choice. He has thoughts about sprinkles. He's why this whole thing isn't called something boring like Wynn's Premium Ice Creamery, LLC.
If you see him on a cone sleeve, a t-shirt, or the side of a truck — say hi. He's flattered.
